Katarzyna Mackowiak has graduated from the Manchester Metropolitan University (School of Art) MA Product Design.
She has also completed Msc degree in Furniture Manufacturing after studying Wood Technology at the Poznan University of Life Sciences in Poland.
Kasia’s ambition is to turn the physical products into objects of desire, that evoke excitement and engage with the user;
bringing designs which are the expression of our culture,
where the processes and materials work as the instruments to tell a certain story.
Kasia has recently joined 20 emerging designers at ‘Artisanal Digest’ and exhibited ‘The Boundries’ project during the Milan Design Week 2016 at OED studio in Tortona district.
Currently she is a part of the ART+TECH a creative practice accelerator programme based in MadLab (Manchester Digital Laboratory), Manchester.
